ReviewsOsrs plays better on PC imo but the app is good. needs to be slightly more optimized with better qol options relating to right clicking on items etc. as for the game itself its very good, rewards long term planning and thinking with a feeling of constant progression. also no microtransactions which is incredible. after WoW bfa released i switched to osrs and found it alot more fun. would recommend if you have a lot of free time.Been playing rs for 17+ years, stopped playing about 8 years ago when rs3 new combat mechanics were released. mobile got me to come back and start over on osrs, rs3 just doesn't feel right anymore. the past couple months have been wonderful and even years later the game is amazing and community never ceases to amaze me welcoming back with open arms. now... I would not consider osrs mobile a primary gameplay platform, but it is a nice convenient partner to the desktop client. love this gameVery nostalgic! I really love how the jagex team kept the old school feel. And that they let the players vote for all of the major gameplay experiences. I do miss the dungeoneering and summoning skills, from before they branched into runescape 3, as I never had a chance to experience them and I probably won't play runescape 3. Or at least not if it doesn't come out for mobile. Anyway, 5 stars all around! You guys are a great team and serve a great community. Thank you, thank you.I don't think I have ever left a review on any app. However, I can not stress how big of an advancment in mobile gaming the release of RuneScape really is. Also, I have NEVER paid for a game in my life; let alone a monthly subscription. But, you simply will not find a game of such depth and quality on the Play Store. It is not just a time-killer. It is a real game. I would pay $20 for membership a month if that was what it costed.love it but.....can u guys PLEASE put a dang bank in karumja or bring back the note guy for the love of all that is holy put a deposit box or something. f2p players should have opportunity to be able to bank and fish without having to waste 5 minutes walking to a boat, sailing back to port sarim (which makes no sense that theres not a bank there), and then boat all the way back to karumja. AND PLEASEEEEE PLEASEEEE DO A BOT NUKE!!!!! i literally watched 17 bots pop up in one spot out of no where.Feals great to relive my childhood game again. Awesome idea to port it to mobile as not all of us can get our hands on a decent pc. Thankyou Jagex for letting us play this on phones! (Just one thing with mobile version i don't like how the magic and combat menu is on the left hand side of the screen. Unlike on computers its all in one menu to quickly select your spells and special attacks and quickly go back to your inventory to eat food/potions. Though its very standable.Fun game, can be addictive but my bank was accessed even with all their suggested measures in place. Hard to recover from a random theft if you don't have high level friends to help you out. Support could be more understanding and useful but my personal gains are lost due to policy "deal with it"Once upon a time, I was obsessed with the PC version of this game. I had stopped enjoying the game as time progressed, simply due to lack of convenient times to play. I am extremely happy to enjoy a mobile version of the game I once loved. I am happy to see the OSRS community and staff working hard to make this game great again! Thank you Jagex for your revision on OSRS.I got in early in the beta, I love the console game and this is an excelent adaptation! runescape was always about just clicking and so its gameplay transfers really well over to mobile. after the bank x deposit update and the tap to drop toggle was added all my issues with the mobile version dispeared. love the game! All the runescape experience in the palm of your hands. Old and new players alike can enjoy runescape where ever they want to go. skilling has never been easier. had to start a new account after being gone for 6 years. but I'm catching up fast now that I can play anywhere. The game is excellent. All the function of the web browser version seem to be there with 2 exceptions the ability to move your home teleport and using the world map causing the app to crash. The map issue is on both my Samsung devices and seems to be about 50/50 after playing for a bit. Otherwise I would happily give the app 5 stars.garbage! I was liking this game, but the bait and switch with my money makes me mad. started playing this game, and was having fun. then I was offered a free week as a member, and I took up the offer. come to find out the week wasn't free, I lost $10 out of my Google play account. worse still, $10 is supposed to for a month, and I got a week? gameplay was fun, fun stories, and secondary skills were cool, which is why I give it 2 stars overall. So impressed with the playability! I used to play RS waaay back, maybe 2004 and for a good few years. And this smartphone app somehow pulls it off, that classic gameplay feeling and capability, with only some minor handicaps. I wouldn't go pking or bossing, except maybe to experiment, but otherwise this is a totally playable version of the game and it's accessibility just might get me to play some moreI've played RuneScape for 17 years. I can say that so far I am able to do anything on the phone version that I want to do. Only sad part for me personally is the chat is so small these old eyes just can't read it. So I'm a lone player in a multi player game 🙄 I definitely recommend the Old School app, its even better than I had ever imagined!i loved the mobile revamp spite having to start from scratch however it is a wonderful game to bring to mobile. however. can jagex make runescape available to players that dont have wifi or internet.? via a private server. i feel if it was possible. plus side. it could be free have its own world as well as benefit the members as well as free players. to fix that solution. those that could play offline and skilling would just have to play without other players or be able to acess the ge.RSC Vet is glad this app exists. RS3 thumbs down unless your a child, noob or wow fan. Not many have time to sit on a pc n click there lifes away so OSRS mobile is perfect. great copy of rs2 its all here and more.(will change once fixed) so far every time i select "new user" the app crashes and i have to restart it, this process repeats, ive tried changing worlds and turning my wifi off and on, and the app still crashes, any solutions? UPDATE: I was ablw to create a user after letting the app run for a bit, and now it starts up everytime love the game, extremely descripitive tutorial, easy, and fun. This is great way to level on the go for hardcore grinders. Controls well and preforms admirably. Only issues are trying to tap small things but that's just an issue with touch screen in general and not a fault of the developers. Wouldn't suggest any high risk activities like pking or bossing or anything with high click intensity.Fantastic. So happy to be able to play RuneScape again. The mobile interface could use a tad bit of work though. I wish the clicking was a bit easier. The circle click method compared to the X on PC is a tad annoying. Especially on monkey madness pt1 where you cant go out of the darker flooring haha. I also wish you could make the minimap bigger. Other then that I am very grateful!amazing app game never glitches. massive amounts of free play content for weeks of fun. Then members paid for is just next level where you can spend years of of time and still not max out your character. plus new content is released at a decent rate. 5 stars indeed!! App Permissions.
